Another close up of the boy's face, as he grows even more excited about the prospect of experiencing the ride. Suddenly, his mother's hand grabs his shoulder, and drags him out of frame, as she continues toward the car.

Long shot of the boy digging in his heels, grabbing onto his mother's purse, and blocking her path as he frantically jumps up and down pointing to the rocket ship. Mother glances over, shakes her head "no", and continues walking.

The boy jumps up and down to celebrate this great victory, and immediately hops into the ship, bouncing about in eager anticipation

Mother discovers that she has no coins, and shrugs apologetically at the boy.

Still seated in the ship, the boy's body slumps, as he throws his head back and begins wailing.

Medium shot of mother, smiling sympathetically, as she gives a "hold on" sign, before returning to the store to make change the ride.

Once again, the boy is happy, and begins bouncing around in his seat again, as he admires the vehicle, and starts playing with various knobs and switches. Suddenly, a glass hatch slams over the boy, and seatbelt fastens around his shoulders. He looks around frantically, and starts banging on the glass as the ship pivots 90 degrees (pointing straight upward), and blasts off.

Close up of the boy screaming as the craft zooms away from earth. We see the world shrinking behind him in the background.

SPACE TRIP (TBD)

Ship re-appears outside the supermarket (looking a bit weathered), and the glass hatch and safety harnesses retract and vanish. The boy frantically stumbles out of the craft, still looking panicked, and at the same time completely dazed and confused. Once out of the ship, he realizes that he is safely back on earth, and begins kissing the ground and weeping with joy.

Long shot of supermarket doors swinging open, as the mother returns holding a quarter with a bright smile on her face. She he walks toward the camera to clearly show the coin. In the end, the shot is framed as a closeup that is essentially the kid's point of view.

Close up of the kids face, still looking dazed, yet a bit relieved to see his mother. He glances down at the quarter, begins shaking violently, then bolts off screen.

Long shot of the family car, parked at the curb. The boy runs into frame, yanks open the back door, jumps inside, puts on his seatbelt, and slams the door.

Close up of the mother as she does a confused take to the camera, shakes her head, and...

(long shot) pushes the cart out to the car following the boy. Pan back to the rocket ship in the foreground. Fade to black.
